摘要

•This work expands the current literature on text-based approaches for ST cessation.•A text-based SGR intervention was feasible and acceptable among ST users.•SGR helped promote short-term cessation in ST users.•There were no cessation differences at 6-months.•Enhancing the SGR intervention based on participant feedback is warranted.
