•CD30L and CD30 in the intestinal mucosa of mice after induction of CAC model were increased.•CD30L/CD30 signal suppresses the accumulation of TAMs and MDSCs in the TIME.•CD30L deficiency inhibit the proliferation and function of T cells in the TIME of CAC.•CD30L deficiency aggravates the progression of CAC.
