摘要

•ETV5 is highly expressed and transactivated by ERα in thyroid cancer.•Silencing ETV5 reduced FTC133 cell reactivity to 17b-estradiol.•ETV5 direct bind is to the promoter region of PIK3CA.•PIK3CA abrogated ETV5-induced cell growth, migration and EMT.•Expression of ETV5 was positively correlated with PIK3CA in thyroid cancer.
