摘要
Our findings suggest that patients with severe VAD infection have decreased survival at 1-year post-transplant compared to patients with no infection or a non-severe VAD related or VAD specific infection. These findings are pertinent as the bridge to transplant population continues to grow, especially in light of the current revised allocation system. Future studies with a larger sample size could provide more conclusive results.
