Validation of a Nurse Led Triage Algorithm for New Referrals in a Specialized Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic

A nurse-led triage algorithm identifies patients at increased likelihood of PAH or CTEPH with high sensitivity. There is significant physician interobserver variability in the triage priority of these patients, warranting further study. Further evaluation of the triage algorithm in prediction of hemodynamics and ultimate clinical diagnosis is underway.
