Novel Fe-based amorphous compound powder cores with enhanced DC bias performance by adding FeCo alloy powder

•Novel AMPCs were fabricated by the mixture of FeSiBPNbCr and FeCo powders.•The magnetic properties of the AMPCs can be well tuned by powder proportion.•The Bs and DC bias performance were greatly improved by 35% and 24%.•The compound cores still exhibited low Pcv and high frequency stability.
