Combining Brassica sachets and extracts with thermotherapy against postharvest green mold of orange

•Canola and mustard extracts and sachets produce fungitoxic volatiles.•Very simple brassicas sachets control green mold on wounded and inoculated oranges.•Combining thermotherapy does not improve green mold control by brassica sachets.•Canola sachet controls P. digitatum sporulation as the fungicide Imazalil.
