Temporary RV support through a groin-free percutaneous implantation of a ProtekDuo® cannula in the setting of acute MI is a feasible and safe tool in TCS for RHF. Our technique reduces the threshold for t-RVAD implantation by providing all advantages of a percutaneous implantation technique including complete mobilization and bedside explantation without any need for a surgical explantation.
