Effect of a Low-Frequency Magnetic Field on the Release of Heat by Magnetic Nanoparticles of Different Shapes

Cubic nanoparticles of magnetite are synthesized and a comparative analysis is performed of the release of heat by needle-shaped and spherical nanoparticles inside a low-frequency magnetic field. The sizes, shapes, and magnetic properties of the investigated samples are determined. The effect concentration, temperature, and the frequency and intensity of the magnetic field have on the release of heat is investigated. A suspension of magnetic particles is obtained and found to have a high coefficient of heat release (160 W/g) inside a low-frequency electromagnetic field with a frequency of 5.2 kHz.
