摘要

•A facile hydrothermal method is developed to grow self-supported ultrathin NTOH nanowall.•The nanowall comprised of vertically oriented nanosheets shows excellent rate and cycle performance.•The vertically oriented nanosheets create direct and independent paths of electron transport.•The open framework of nanaowall supplies large interface that directly contact the electrolyte.
