摘要

•The magnetic anisotropy of magnetic elements Fe, Co, and Ni thin films under different compressive stresses was obtained by measuring anisotropic magnetoresistance.•The stress-coefficients of magnetoelastic anisotropy of Fe, Co and Ni thin films were determined to be erg cm−3 GPa−1, erg cm−3 GPa−1 and erg cm−3 GPa−1, respectively.
