Direct extraction of stress intensity factors for geometrically elaborate cracks using a high-order Numerical Manifold Method

•A NMM with high order enrichment and parametric enrichment zone is proposed.•Mode-decomposed SIFs are computed in closed-form upon the solution of NMM system.•Enrichment schemes are discussed for cases involving nearby crack tips.•Several benchmark problems are considered and promising results are obtained.
