摘要
•The paper presents an efficient computational method for economic nonlinear model predictive control, which is based on nonlinear programming (NLP) sensitivity update.•The novelty of the paper lies on the NLP sensivity method that is designed for a weaker constraint qualification namely, Mangasarian-Fromovitz constraint qualification (MFCQ).•The proposed method is demonstrated on a large-scale chemical process case example, consisting more than 10.000 decision variables.
