摘要

•Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) detected significant biochemical changes in serum of actual Gleason grade group (GG) 3 or higher in biopsy GG1 prostate cancer (CaP).•Diagnostic models based on SERS spectra achieved high accuracies in discriminating final Gleason GG 3 or higher in biopsy GG1 CaP.•Addition of distinctive SERS peaks to clinical variables significantly enhanced the diagnostic accuracy of Gleason GG upgrade on radical prostatectomy in biopsy GG1 CaP.
