摘要

•Ten new compounds were isolated from the roots of Stephania tetrandra.•Compounds 1, 2, and 12 were unambiguously determined by X-ray crystallography.•Compound 3 was a partial racemate and was discovered by chiral HPLC.•Compounds 1–4 and 14–16 showed anti-inflammatory activities.
