An evidence-based guideline on the application of molecular testing in the diagnosis, prediction of prognosis, and selection of therapy in non-GIST soft tissue sarcomas

•Molecular analyses are useful in diagnosis and predicting prognosis in some STS.•Based on evidence, we made 24 recommendations with 9 qualifying statements in STS.•Some recommendations may need to be updated when new evidence appears.
