Harnessing single-session interventions to improve adolescent mental health and well-being in India: Development, adaptation, and pilot testing of online single-session interventions in Indian secondary schools.

•Can single-session interventions (SSIs) be adapted for Indian adolescents?•We adapted three SSIs for mental health promotion in secondary schools.•We collected feedback from students and schoolteachers to refine the interventions.•We conclude that SSIs are acceptable, appropriate, and promising.•Further research is needed to test their effects in non-western settings.
