摘要

•Viral glycoproteins are major hotspots for vaccine development.•Pentavalent complex which facilitates HCMV entry into host was targeted.•A multi-epitope vaccine consisting of CD4, CD8 and b cell epitopes was constructed.•An Adjuvant- CpG-ODNs was linked for boosting the immune response.•Molecular docking, dynamics and immune simulations revealed promising results.
