摘要

•3-D analysis of passively autonomous frequency control operation is performed.•No active reactivity control, by control rods or soluble boron, is required.•The study is made in for a soluble-boron-free SMR at BOC, MOC, and EOC.•Acceptable deviations of axial shape index and coolant temperature are found.•Good feasibility for both primary and secondary frequency control operations.
