Ultrawideband Orthogonal Polarization Conversion Reflector Using Cross-Placed Strip Elements

This paper proposes a novel strip element put in the cross that is useful for orthogonal polarization conversion reflectors. Conversion efficiency is 80% in the frequency range of 14.7 GHz-43.9 GHz (the relative band is 105%). As a result, it is possible to obtain a 360 degrees reflection phase shift by combining the proposed element with the previously developed element.
