Comb-shaped amphiphilic triblock copolymers blend PVDF membranes overcome the permeability-selectivity trade-off for protein separation

•Three kinds of comb-shaped amphiphilic PEME triblock copolymers were synthesized.•Effects of PEME with different hydrophilic block length on membrane structure-property relationship.•M-2 membrane exhibited high BSA solution flux (150 L·m−2·h−1) and excellent rejection (99.99%).•M-2 membrane overcame the permeability-selectivity trade-off for BSA solution separation.
