Preparation and evaluation of fouling-release properties of amphiphilic perfluoropolyether-zwitterion cross-linked polymer films

•Cross-linked amphiphilic films of perfluoropolyethers and the zwitterionc monomer sulfobetaine methacrylate were prepared.•The performance of these films was tested against example marine organisms and the bacteria Staphylococcus aureus.•Results indicate the incorporation of zwitterion into perfluoropolyethers leads to improvements in anti-fouling performance.
