Graphene oxide/Fe(III)-based metal-organic framework membrane for enhanced water purification based on synergistic separation and photo-Fenton processes

•A GO/M88A membrane is constructed for the first time by a facile vacuum filtration method.•The membrane shows an enhanced separation performance based on synergistic separation and photo-Fenton processes.•The membrane shows high photo-Fenton catalytic degradation efficiency.•The membrane has excellent recyclability and self-cleaning performance.
