Surgeon experience is mandatory to optimise patient outcomes after robot-assisted radical cystectomy with intracorporeal urinary diversion. However, even for a surgeon with high annual robot-assisted surgical volume, the learning process of this procedure is steep and challenging, especially for harder outcomes such as complication and recurrence reduction.
