摘要

•Intratumoral cystic change and calcification may be more common in pancreatic sarcomatoid carcinoma (PSC) than ductal adenocarcinoma.•Compression of main pancreatic duct seem to be valuable clue for diagnosis of PSC.•Uptake of FDG is notably high in PSC, especially in delayed phase on 18F-FDG PET/CT images.
