Features Words Extraction Methods Of Poi For Japanese Fit Using Comments In A Tourism Web Site

The number of Foreign Independent Tour (FIT) is increasing in the world. This research aims to develop a personal adaptive tourism recommendation system (PATRS) for FIT. This paper describes the concept of PATRS and related researches. Then, feature words extraction methods of point of interest (POI) especially for Japanese FIT using comments in a major tourism Web site are introduced. This paper adopts two methods of counting words frequency method (WF) and calculating score method (SC) using TF-IDF. From the results on the experiments, it is confirmed that the method by SC can be effective in the case of the analysis on a large number of a comment group. On the other hand, it was also confirmed that WF has possibility in the case of a few comments in not famous tourism areas.
