摘要
•Delayed non-hemorrhagic, non-infectious symptomatic edema around DBS lead is an uncommon complication of DBS surgery.•Delayed symptomatic peri-lead edema can occur in around 3–4% of implanted leads.•Symptomatic peri-lead edema usually resolves over time and does not impact long-term clinical outcomes.
