摘要
•Cold expansion on nickel based superalloy is carried out.•The fatigue life of GH4169 bolt hole increases by 2.1–3.5 times.•The compressive residual stress is retained at 600 °C.•The combination of the critical distance theory and Smith-Watson-Topper multiaxial fatigue criterion gives good predictions.
