Low Cost 3D Printed Fabry-Perot Antenna for Automotive Radar Applications

This paper reports on the feasibility of novel low cost 3D printed antennas for millimetre wave automotive radar applications. A Fabry-Perot cavity antenna is realized using 3D metal printing technology. The performance of the manufactured antenna is evaluated. The measurement results are promising and shows the suitability of 3D fabrication technique for millimetre wave applications.
