The epilogue of Paleo-Tethyan tectonics in the South China Block: insights from the Triassic aluminous A-type granitic and bimodal magmatism

•The report of Triassic bimodal dike suite and three aluminous A-type granitic plutons.•The Xiamao bimodal dikes were formed through an AFC process of primary mafic melt.•The A-type granitoids were produced by disequilibrium melting or magma differentiation.•These magmatic events mark the end of the Paleo-Tethyan tectonics in South China.
