Application of bean optimization algorithm in ranking model for Dangshan pear germplasm resources nature reserve based on fuzzy preference relationships

To rank the fuzzy numbers helps decision makers to select the best solution in a vague situation and it has been a continuously significant research topic in the decision making process. Fuzzy numbers must be arranged before the decision maker takes action, and a plenty of ranking methods have been developed to perform this task. In the present study, a user recommendation-ranking model was proposed based on the fuzzy preference relationships and Bean Optimization Algorithm. The Dangshan Pear Germplasm Resources Nature Reserve was chosen as a research area and the professionals and legislatures based on various roles including (government officials, farmers and visitors) were consulted to present the coefficients of fuzzy preference relationships. After that, an optimization model based on the fuzzy preference relationship was developed. A novel algorithm based on Swarm Intelligence called the Bean Optimization Algorithm (BOA), which was based on the seed dispersal mode phenomenon, was developed to solve the proposed model and to obtain the ranking values for the objects. In the end, the fuzzy preference recommendation was implemented by ranking the order of the presented roles to reach to a certain conclusion. The preliminary results indicate the efficacy of the proposed method towards the problems based on user preference relations.
