摘要
•Electrical Impedance Tomography can monitor lesion size in real time during Cardiac Radiofrequency Ablation.•The method balances information needed against a well-posed EIT inverse solver.•It takes advantage of intraprocedural known anatomical information and catheter location derived from anatomic mapping systems.•It was tested in simulation with a real 2.5D thorax boundary and lungs, and an elliptical heart model of 16 mm wall thickness.•It deals well with wide-range tissue background conductivity, varied endocardial convection, catheter location error and EIT noises up to 100 μV.
