The utility of traditional Chinese medicine (Shenmai) in the cardiac rehabilitation after coronary artery bypass grafting: A single-center randomized clinical trial.

•Shenmai is safe and effective when administrated to patients who received coronary artery bypass grafting.•Shenmai improves the exercise tolerance in the early stage of the cardiac rehabilitation according to this study.•The traditional Chinese medicine can be complementary to the standard cardiac rehabilitation.
