摘要
An off-body dipole antenna with a dogbone AMC structure is introduced for 5.2-GHz body-worn wireless applications. The design consists of a dual-dipole element and an AMC structure that produces a broadside radiation pattern. The AMC structure is used to shield the human body from radiation resulting in very low specific absorption rate (SAR) of 0.356 W/Kg. Finally, a way to compromise performance between bending and no-bending conditions was presented. This antenna is a good candidate for wearable applications.
