Identification of U-shaped Curve Relation in Pro-neurotensin and Risk of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) in Premature CAD Patients

•Serum proneurotensin levels were higher in patients with premature coronary artery disease.•Serum proneurotensin levels were independently related to premature coronary artery disease.•Dentification of the U-shaped curve relation between proneurotensin levels and premature coronary artery disease risk.•Subjects with lower and higher proneurotensin levels were more likely to have premature coronary artery disease.
