摘要
This article presents the analysis of induced currents, voltages and EM Fields in the vicinity of the refueling probe of a tanker aircraft caused by on-board High Frequency (HF) radios transmission during Air-to-Air Refueling (AAR) operation. Two different receiver aircrafts have been considered (a fighter and another tanker) to investigate the influence of the receiver size. Analysis has been performed using advanced simulations in time domain (TD) with a conformal meshing to obtain accurate results. Several conclusions about consequences of a possible un-intentional operation of HF transmitters have been obtained.
