摘要
•Mechanisms having a potential effect on IASCC in the LWR primary coolant environment were analyzed.•Predominant mechanisms effected on IASCC were revealed.•A crack initiation criterion of IASCC was formulated and a model of IASCC initiation was developed.•The model supports the existence of the IASCC threshold stresses dose dependence.•The model allows one to calculate the time before IASCC initiation.
