Ecosystem changes following the eradication of invasive species: Evaluation of various eradication scenarios by computer simulation

•We simulated the eradication of invasive goats and rats on an oceanic island.•Simultaneous eradication both goats and rats was favorable for ecosystem restoration.•The simultaneous eradication made the ecosystem be bi-stable.•In rare cases, the ecosystem was crashed after the eradication.
