The Application of Guided Wave Ultrasonic Testing Technique in Power System

This paper introduces the basic principle how ultrasonic guided wave is generated and its propagation mode.It also introduces the application of ultrasonic guided waves in angle steel type material and tower bolt inspection of electric iron tower,the application of ultrasonic guided waves in pressure pipe and small diameter tube inspection.Ultrasonic guided wave technology can improve the testing speed effectively and reduce cost,and it can also be widely used in power system non-destructive testing.
