摘要

•An impedance matching approach for bipolar recordings was developed.•Mice and rat vagus nerve recordings were used to evaluate efficacy.•Efficacy was measured by INRs in 6 subjects and 2 bipolar electrode types.•ECG, stimulation artifact and EMG interference was successfully suppressed.•The algorithm outperforms simple bipolar subtraction in all cases.
