Cross-cultural adaptation and psychometric properties of the Chinese version of the Functional Remission of General Schizophrenia (FROGS) scale and the four-item version (mini-FROGS) among people with schizophrenia.

•The Chinese version of the FROGS has good psychometric properties among people with schizophrenia.•The mini-FROGS has the similar assessment sensitivity and specificity with the FROGS.•The mini-FROGS is better used in the clinical setting because of its convenience and efficiency.
