摘要
•Dp116 is a Schwann cell-specific dystrophin isoform.•Dp116 was shown to be expressed in glioblastoma, a lethal cerebral malignancy.•Skipping of exon 78 was the default pathway.•Of the five alternatively spliced variants detected, Dp116b was the most abundant.•DMD exons showed two novel splicing patterns, one with cryptic splice activation.
