摘要

•Small volumes defined in the brain should be followed during the course of fractionated radiotherapy delivery.•Higher mean dose to the ipsilateral subventricular zone (iSVZ) leads to better overall survival.•Involving the iSVZ in the target volume should be considered.•An adaptive approach is suggested, with re-planning at 2/3 through the radiotherapy course.
