Association of maternal D-dimer level in late pregnancy with birth outcomes in a Chinese cohort.

•Plasma D-dimer levels in late pregnancy were positively associated with fetal growth indicators.•Increase in D-dimer quartiles were associated with an decreased risk for SGA, LBW and PTB infants.•Increase in D-dimer quartiles were associated with an increased risk for large for LGA and macrosomia infants.•D-dimer test in this study had risk evaluation value for obstetric outcomes.
