Task offloading strategies based on workload balancing in ultra-dense networks.

Mobile edge computing (MEC) has become one of the key technologies of 5G because it allows mobile devices to offload computing tasks to MEC servers. In this paper, for the task offloading in ultra-dense networking, the uneven distribution of users and MEC servers is considered. The simulation results show that the proposed offloading strategy effectively achieves load balancing and optimizes the performance of the system.
