The eddy-covariance storage term in air: Consistent community resources improve flux measurement reliability

•One of the first community resources for eddy-covariance storage term are released.•These resources include air storage measurement set up and open-source package.•Air storage data products at 47 NEON sites are consistently measured and computed.•Only top measurements underestimate EC storage terms, especially for CO2.•Eddy-covariance storage terms are significant at hourly and daily timescales.
