摘要
This paper presents a comparative analysis of three LU decomposition methods - KLU, NICSLU, and GLU - focusing on their performance when applied on power system simulation problems. This assessment is performed via experimental results of the execution times. The data sample for these experiments is composed of individual benchmark matrices as well as complete simulations which are representative for RTE's phasor time domain simulations. The NICSLU method yields encouraging results, especially for refactorization, which opens up prospects for performance improvements, both on current solving methods and on alternative numerical computation schemes that could thus update the Jacobian more frequently to avoid several residual function evaluations and decrease the overall computation time.
