摘要
The worldwide deregulation in power systems has increased the incentives for a cost effective and efficient use of available assets in all segments of utilities industry, especially in distribution networks. In the current competitive energy market, Regulatory Authorities are forcing utilities to increase proactive methods of utility asset management. Significant advances have been made during the last decade in developing infrastructure asset management systems. However, there is a need to improve and extend the scope and capabilities of these systems to support the sustainable management and development of assets. This paper proposes a metamodel for multi-utilities assets for an effective managing of the entire life cycle of the assets, capable of providing a uniform approach for all the infrastructures and to represent each component through sufficiently detailed models. In this framework an advanced sub model focused on long-term asset management for electric distribution networks planning is outlined as well as a specific example.
