Solvolysis of acrylate-urethane coatings cured by electron-beam and UV radiation

摘要
•Glycolysis for two different types of polyacrylate-urethane resin coatings cured by (EB- and UV-) radiation was studied.•The cured coatings were deposited on aluminum sheets. Solvolysis was carried out with diethylene glycol (DEG) catalyzed by KOH.•The resins and products were characterized by FT-IR ATR spectroscopy and size exclusion chromatography.•The results show that total solvolysis is possible for both cured resins, albeit is faster for resins cured by UV radiation.
