A novel broadband planar reflectarray is proposed for 5G millimeter wave coverage enhancement in indoor NLOS scenario. The element of the reflectarray consists of a square ring with four arrows. The introduction of the four arrows can extend the reflection phase range beyond 550 degrees across the band of 24.5-29.5GHz. The antenna performance is verified by testing the proposed reflectarray with horn feed. The proposed reflectarray is applied as the passive repeater to enhance the coverage of the millimeter wave communication in indoor NLOS scenario of L-shaped corridor. The practical measured results show that the coverage is enhanced by about 10dBm with the proposed reflectarray.
